Election Day 2006
Article by Mrs. Diane Barnes, photos by Mr. Dave Thompson Today, November 6th,  was Voting Day in the second grade. All second graders came to the voting booth in the hallway. Each student signed his or her name on the card and validated the registration process. Each student then proceeded to the "booth" to vote on the favorite out of uniform day, favorite enrichment, favorite color, ice cream, pet, and song. All votes were private of course and each person received a sticker once the voting was complete. Results are in : Favorite out of uniform day.....Dress Up Day won out over Jeans Day Favorite color was blue Favorite pet was a dog Favorite ice cream was chocolate. The favorite song was "All God's Critters" by a wide margin. And of course, as always, the Favorite Enrichment was P.E. by a landslide!!!! Hats off to our second-grade Americans for a job well done.
