Fall Cleanup a Sweeping Success
Photos and article by Mr. Dave Thompson Saturday, October 7th, was a magnificent day. The sun was out and the temperatures were warm. It was a perfect day to be outside and clean up the grounds at St. Pius X School. Sixty-five people, including students, parents, teachers and staff took part in the fun that lasted from 8:00 am to 12 noon. It was a great turn out. Weeds were pulled, lawns were cut, leaves were raked, rocks were swept and paper was picked up. The feedback from the families was very positive.  People were already talking about the Spring Clean Up.  Mrs. Cathy Eshelman, who organized the event said, "We'll be able to get bigger projects lined up with that many people showing up."
