Knights of Columbus Donate New Dictionaries to Third Graders

Aurora (November 14)- St. Pius X third graders were treated to an early Christmas gift on Monday. Each one of them received a brand new dictionary from the Knights of Columbus Council #12336. Mr. Eric D. Esposti and Mr. Greg Archunde, from Our Lady of Loretto Parish, brought enough dictionaries for each and every third grader. Each dictionary was personally inscribed with each student’s name.

After handing out the dictionaries, Mr. Esposti and Mr. Archunde proceeded to ask the third graders a few questions. “What’s the definition of ‘zoo’?” “What is the last word in the dictionary?” “What is the longest word in the English language?”

All of the third graders truly appreciated their gifts. The Knights of Columbus is a worldwide fraternal organization dedicated to the service of others. Serving the young of our world is always a grace-filled endeavor. Thank you.
