On Monday, September 18^th, St. Pius X students watched the eighth graders perform a Spanish skit, Dia se Diez e Sies de Septiembre. The skit was presented in the church in honor of Mexican Independence Day.

The skit told the story of Juan, a young boy, who grew up to be a leader of the Mexican Independence movement.

The eighth graders who preformed the skit were Suzanne Miikesell, Shawn Schamber, Jessica Tooker, Rachael Hager, Cecilia Quintero, Destini Randall, Graham Brack, Dominic Randall, Scott Rupp, Lawreen Camello, Khoa Nguyen, Katrina Jackson, Kristi Jensen, Kristen Coffey, D’Aaron Moore, Emily Garcia, Rosie Bockh, Bridgett McNally, and Andrew Gerlach.
