Aurora (November 11)- To end Native American Week Mrs. Solano’s kindergarten class and their eighth grade buddies made their “Indian” shirts on Friday, November 11th directly after mass.

Mrs. Solano gave each Kindergartener an “Indian” name and a she gave a packet to the eighth graders containing information about some of the symbols that describe their little buddy’s “Indian” name that theycould put on their t-shirts. They used markers and paint to decorate making the kindergarteners very happy.

The shirts were just regular t-shirts in light brown to dark brown colors. On these shirts they wrote their “Indian” names and then decorated.

Their finished shirts turned
out great!
