Today, I Gracie Mancia had the wonderful task of interviewing our principal Mr. Hammond. In the interview we found a lot of interesting facts and the Tech Club had many questions. One member from the Tech Club asked, “Were you a principal before you came here?

To this Mr. Hammond responded, “Yes, as a matter of fact I was.”

          “Where,” she asked.

“I was a principal back in a school in Missouri. The school was called Shell Knob and it was Kindergarten through 8th and it consisted of about 200 students,” he said.

Once we started talking about him being principal I asked, “Why did you become principal here at St. Pius?”

He replied, “Well I think it was God’s providence because I was on an Alaskan cruise and I met Father Crucera who used to do the daily masses here at St. Pius and he found out I was looking for a job so he told me to apply here at St. Pius.”

From these questions I knew a lot about Mr. Hammond but I knew I could find out more and I did so here it is:
