Admissions

St. Pius X Catholic School educates students from age three through the 8^th grade.  Our goal is to provide a strong moral foundation based in the Catholic faith, as well as an outstanding academic education.  Students are admitted on a first come, first served basis. 

Students shall not be denied admission because of handicap unless the handicap seriously impairs the student’s ability to successfully complete the school’s academic program, or unless the school cannot provide sufficient care or make reasonable accommodations for the child. Please read the following guidelines:

• Colorado law requires that all students have a Certificate of Immunization on file by the first day of school. If this information is not on file by the first day of school, your child will not be allowed to attend school until such time as the form is turned in to the school office.
• Students entering Kindergarten must be five years old on or before October 1.
• Students entering First Grade must be six years old on or before October 1.
• Entrance examinations may be required for new students and the results may be a factor in determining acceptance.

All students are required to participate in religion classes, Mass, and any other religious activities. Children must be 5 years old before October 1 to enter Kindergarten or 6 before October 1 to enter first grade or have completed a state-approved Kindergarten program.
